장승포항은 경남 거제시에 있는 항구로 1965년 개항되었는데 인근에 대우조선공업의 옥포조선소를 끼고 있어 장승포항의 항세(港勢)는 크게 신장되었다.
또한 14개의 유인도와 37개의 무인도로 이루어진 거제도는 산과 계곡, 굴곡진 700리 해안선 등 곳곳에 뛰어난 경관이 산재하여 장승포항을 이용하는 관광객도 급증하는 추세이다.
Jangseungpo Port was opened in 1965 as a port in Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and with the Okpo shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding Industry nearby, the Port of Jangseungpo's port performance has greatly improved.
